Weddings
Rabbi bright helped make our wedding the most incredible day, with his calm yet cool demeanour he soothed our jitters away and with his humour he had the entire place laughing. He used his wisdom to give us advice, and his voice filled the room with joyful tears. We got married this past August, we had a beautiful outdoor wedding and we could not be happier to be Mr & Mrs. From the booking process with his wonderful assistant Wendy, to our one on one meetings, to the actual day of the wedding, we could not have been any happier with how everything went. Obviously Rabbi Bright has done this once or twice but he still had so much passion in putting together his words for our reception, he has such an ease with how he speaks, we felt extremely comfortable and felt like we were surrounded with support. He made us laugh so hard everyone keeps telling us how amazing our Rabbi is and we could not possibly agree anymore. Our day was perfect because of the care and thought Rabbi Bright put into our wedding. Huge thank you to Rabbi Bright and his wonderful team.

We cannot say enough about how much Rabbi Bright and
Cantor Benlolo contributed to our wedding. When Mitch and I got engaged we decided we wanted the person who married us to really “get us”. Rabbi Bright went above and beyond, giving his time, wisdom and advice in our pre-wedding meetings. We truly felt as if he cared about who we are and what we believe. We went into our wedding confident that it would be exactly what we wanted, but what we got was so much more. Our ceremony was personal, funny, touching and simply perfect. Cantor Benlolo's astounding voice and choice of pieces made it so that we and our guests and were nothing less than completely overwhelmed.

Rabbi Bright was a great resource for us throughout our wedding. He explained everything we needed to know very clearly and guided us effectively throughout the entire process. He led a very lively and personable ceremony that was enjoyed by everyone.

Our wedding day was the most beautiful day of our lives.
Eric and I knew from our first pre wedding session with
Rabbi Bright that he was going to ensure that this day was
extremely special and tailored to us. On the day, Rabbi Bright
really help set the tone and made Eric and I feel so blessed.
Our day was intimate and we felt that Rabbi Bright made sure
to respond to our needs and those of our families and made sure this was such a success. Our friends and family are still talking about both Rabbi Bright and Cantor Benlolo as the dynamic duo from our wedding who had them all rolling with laughter while wiping away the tears of joy. We cannot thank them enough!

In August of 2015, we had Rabbi Bright officiate our wedding. My wife and I met with Rabbi Bright in his office to get a feel for the man who would potentially be a part of our big day. After one meeting, we had an instant connection with Rabbi Bright and knew we wanted him to be the one to oversee our ceremony. His views on family & Judaism in the home resonated with us on so many levels and that added to the comfort in our decision. The Rabbi's words under the Chuppah during our wedding added a fantastic element that we cannot thank him enough for. Rabbi Bright has since named our two daughters, Jordyn & Hannah, and we are lucky to have had such a great man be a part of our many simchas in life.

Rabbi Bright already knew my family but made it a point to get to know my husband and I as a couple. We enjoyed our sessions with him leading up to our wedding. He showed us a great amount of care and warmth to make it a positive and meaningful experience that we truly enjoyed and will always remember.
Rabbi Bright and Cantor Benlolo made our ceremony so special, and so much fun. Both took the time to get to know us and make our ceremony as personal and meaningful as they could. We feel very lucky to have had them by our side on our wedding day—and in the months leading up to it—and cannot imagine it any other way.

Hello, my name is Joseph and I am a member of Shaare Zedek congregation in Montreal. A little over three years ago I met Rabbi Bright for the first time, a meeting that has changed my life forever! Getting married by Rabbi Bright was like having my father present at the wedding, my biological father passed in 2005, Rabbi Bright has always been a listening hear and a great source of wisdom and good advice. All I can say, is that the wedding was done simply, beautifully in the purest tradition of Jewish wedding and was enhanced by the Rabbi officiating and Cantor Benlolo's lovely voice. We will cherish this wonderful moment the rest of our lives.
Thank you Rabbi/Chazzan!

When one plans a wedding day, perfection is the ultimate goal. We all want the perfect venue, the perfect dress, the perfect suit, the perfect photographer and so on. When we started planning our perfectly ever after, we, of course, wanted the perfect duo: Rabbi Bright and Cantor Benlolo. We could not have imagined our wedding day without these two. From day one, their professionalism, their guidance and their jokes made these special moments in our lives even more special. Rabbi Bright and Cantor Benlolo were exactly what we needed to share our Simcha. Our family and friends, who joined us from across the world, felt that we had picked our friends to be part of our wedding. Everyone felt that no matter where they were from, what language they spoke they were welcomed, appreciated and cared for. We will forever be grateful for those occasions we shared preparing this wedding but mostly those precious moments under the chuppah where it felt like the world had stopped and it was just us four, Cantor Benlolo singing, Rabbi Bright officiating, and us, two best friends getting married. These are the moments that mark our lives, and we are grateful that it was this clergy who shared it with us. Thank you, Rabbi Bright and Cantor Benlolo for being part of our journey.
